It’s just the two of us (plus my very sweet cat who unfortunately would NOT tolerate another animal in her territory) that share a spacious fully furnished townhome in NW Longmont. I rescued this cat from some very traumatic experiences and she has been with other cats and it truly doesn’t work. I promised her she wouldn’t have to do that again in her lifetime, so please don’t ask if you can bring your cat or dog, no matter how well your pet has gotten along with other cats or that you would keep yours in your room. I am so sorry but the answer is really no. I love animals but I made a promise to my cat.
This is a multi-level home i.e. lots of steep stairs! The garage entrance leads to a half flight down to the basement, and a half flight up to the living room and front door. Then another half level up to the kitchen, den, dining room, and a full flight up to the bedrooms and baths and washer/dryer.
We share all the common areas; the lovely 2 story living room with a half bath, the dining room with 2 sided fireplace, the eat-in kitchen/den with the other side of the gas fireplace, a two car garage, and unfinished basement (storage!). Both of our bedrooms and bathrooms are on the third/top level at opposite ends of the hall. Your bedroom faces north and is quite bright in the day and your private bath is about three steps outside the bedroom. Your bedroom is small yet all three of the roommates I have had have said they loved how cozy it feels. Each of them has rearranged the existing furniture to suit their fancy. There is a double bed frame and mattress, a chest of drawers, a very large cabinet for storage, a bedside table and some lamps.
We’re very near buses, walking trails, and close walking distance to a nearby small neighborhood shopping center with a mix of restaurants, coffee shop, and businesses. The quiet neighborhood has a mix of single family, condos and townhomes, and is home to some very nice people. I think it’s a well kept secret how very pleasant it is for those of us who find our way here. My roommates have all said that this home is a welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
An additional amenity included in the rent is a housecleaning service that comes every two weeks. As long as we can communicate we can make things work for both of us. I lived alone for a long time and resisted having a roommate, and now I wouldn’t have it any other way!
I am so grateful to live in a home that is quiet, peaceful, comfortable and lovely! My home is my temple. I am here almost all the time, and I am slowly recovering from a debilitating twenty year illness. It’s a miracle and I am learning to embrace life in an open hearted and joyful way. I am very involved with online spiritual communities studying the principles and applications of A Course In Miracles. Learning to love myself has changed everything! I am an introvert who needs lots of quiet time, and also enjoys deeply connecting with those I care about. I am very supportive, enjoy helping others, am warm and compassionate, and love to laugh. My beloved cat is a great comfort and companion. (She needs to be the sole pet so I am sorry, you cannot bring another animal into the home). Most of the time I am reading, on the computer, watching Netflix, or on the phone with friends and family. My health improvement comes from following the Medical Medium’s recommendations, so I spend quite a bit of time preparing daily fresh celery juice, detox smoothies and other healthy goodies. I have been blessed with some wonderful roommates and am excited to meet the next one. I am easy to get along with, a good communicator, and believe we are on the planet in order to learn to love and help one another.Apply to Peace’njoy's Home
